Default RIAA changing tactics

Quote:
Depending on the agreement, the ISP will either forward the note to customers, or alert customers that they appear to be uploading music illegally, and ask them to stop. If the customers continue the file-sharing, they will get one or two more emails, perhaps accompanied by slower service from the provider. Finally, the ISP may cut off their access altogether.

I'm pretty sure i predicted something like that would happen in a post a couple years ago .

I can never get over the fact that the RIAA actually attempts to fight with the obvious and inevitable technological future. That's why they have given all their power to Apple. The only reason they are letting up is probably because they have no more funds left to pay lawyers with. Some people are just much, much slower to see whats going on around them than others.

It just the same old ****. Now they just try to have the ISP's be the bad guys, even though nothing has changed. It's still the same morons telling ISP's who should be warned etc.

Well it took 15 years to have them realize that suing people didn't work. 15 more and maybe they will realize, they made a mistake making enemies with the consumers.
