saveing files can someone tell me how to save files other than mp3 ? |
Go to; Tools > Options > Saving; and then select the type you want to save, click "Browse" just below this option and select the destination |
thanks thank you sir, I'll try that:aweof: |
It still didnt give the option to save as wma or whatever, just saves as mp3 ? |
The file saves itself as whatever file it is when its on the network, if you download a .wma, you cannot save it as an mp3. Try typing a song you want with the correct extension |
ok thanks, I know I used to get wma now just mp3 |
wma is definitely not a very good format. And more you should know about the format: What you should know about WMA/WMV Files. LW now auto filters the format because it is spammed far too much. The higher % of what's on the network is rubbish spam or simply rubbish. Microsoft's poorest file format ever to hit the market. Most of what you find is virus (or much worse) infected. :) Most people who use WMA format do it purely out of ignorance. ;) And because it is the default format for saving within WMP which is loaded onto 90% of computers out there. Unfortunately most people do not realise about this. WMA is also a Micro$oft patented format. Not easily converted unless the other converter program has paid license fee to be allowed to do such. |
the only reason i dont like mp3z is because the cd player in my truck and my semi do not read mp3z, but , thank you for the info. I did not know that |
