![]() Forum Members I've just come across this story about the demise Lehman Brothers and one of their financial tricks they used to pretend that they were financially healthier than they actually were, namely REPO 105. BBC News - Lehman Brothers' former heads criticised for lapses It makes me wonder, how many other financial institutions are out there (both in the US and Europe) pretending to be healthy but in reality should be put down. ![]() You know Crymomma As much as I hate what these institutions have done to both America and the UK, unfortunately we need them to maintain our way of life. You see, to maintain the way we live, to buy the things we want and to get the mortgages to buy our homes we need credit and credit only comes via financial institutions. However, all this credit will catch up with person and/or country that uses too much of it. UK Bob |
