Thank you my lord I tried again, by deleting the old download and starting again, and it stopped in exactly the same place. I think it best to find another version. I did want the MP4 version, as it runs on my Palm pre, but you can't have everything. |

Oh, maybe the person you were downloading from only has part of the file themselves & are in same situation awaiting for someone with the entire file to download from. This is often common for torrent files. But may also occur on the Gnutella network. |

oh LW has a court injunction against their distribution of LW. It's ok, just click onto the My Files tab or do a search & that message vanishes. Network is still running ok. But you may need fresh Gnutella.net file if you are having connection problems. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/instal...r-version.html, this has link to LW 5.5.10 installer & how to get LW connected properly again. . Have you try to use LW connection FIX? If not take a look here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

BTW, no improvements happened to LW after 5.5.9. After 5.5.10, all the updates were in reference to the auto-update feature LW incorporated. You can see from the http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...-5-5-16-a.html changelog. From memory of viewing the original changelog, I cannot recall seeing any bug fixes that were actually involved with the general use of LW. |
