![]() Dear Forum Members (especially UK ones) Did you know that under current British legislation anyone can intercept your Internet communication and all they need is a belief, mistaken or otherwise, that you gave your permission. Right now the EU is going to take the UK government to court over the UK's extremely deficient position. Here's the URL to the story: BBC News - EU Commission takes UK to court over web privacy I am glad that the EU is taking action because the UK government sees it's citizens as commodities that can be exploited by any business interest that may generate tax revenue. You know, I am sick and tired of the UK government constantly selling out the British public for either political, financial, or whatever else rubbish thing that comes along. It seems like only the EU can really protect UK citizens from some of the excesses of the UK government, regardless of it's political colour. UK Bob |

![]() Unfortunately Blackhorse The political classes treat us, the ordinary working people, like sheep to be sheared. The only things that our democratic system does is change the people that do the shearing. Both our countries have fought in a war started by our politicians, both our countries have been brought to its knees by the financial shenanigans of the banks and now its the ordinary guys like us that have to pay with higher taxes and job losses, while most of the crooks who caused the problems are still in place doing what they do. Life as a sheep sucks. UK Bob Last edited by ukbobboy01; November 3rd, 2010 at 05:38 AM. |
