Exclamation Limewire PE unable to connect. Windows 7

I've tried just about all of the patches, fixes, and i've even installed new network drivers. Limewire worked fine on my Windows 10 computer, but it doesn't want to work on my Windows 7. I get an error on startup, and when I check the advanced settings all I see is this: https://imgur.com/a/FgszXPh
Here's the error i'm getting aswell: http://prntscr.com/nen3na
Any help would be appreciated.

I presume you have tried the LPE Connectfix installer?

I'm not sure about the reported error as I cannot see the entire log.
How about instead installing WireShare which is the continuation of LPE but with several bugs fixed. WireShare should in theory be a little easier to connect with. https://sourceforge.net/projects/wireshare/

Make sure you make a firewall exception for WireShare. If necessary also forward a port. Port forwarding is far more reliable than UPnP which tends to stop working during long sessions. Also some routers do not have UPnP support.

I've tried all of those except for port forwarding, how might I go about doing that?

Although this post was in regards to BearShare, it is the same approach:
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/host-c...tml#post378498

Point 3 of course for you it's WireShare or LPE's settings. Ignore all lines after point #3 in the above linked-post. You go to LimeWire/WireShare's Settings > Advanced > Listening Ports. Choose Manual Port Forwarding and set the port the same as the one you port forwarded. Or do this in reverse order, first choose the port then set-up the port forwarding. But setting up a static internal port is a must do before you port forward the router.

The great thing about port forwarding is it's 100% reliable even for super long sessions. Whereas UPnP can fail after anywhere between a session lasting a couple days up to not much over a week, depending on how much traffic the program is receiving.
