| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 Strange Connection Problem I just upgraded to Limewire 2.3.3 and now have a strange connection problem: When I initially start the program, it goes through the usual connection attempts, using the limewire as well as teh gnutella host lists. However, if I leave it running for long enough - a couple hours is usually all it takes - it stops attempting to log in to new servers when the old servers disconnect. And that includes the limewire and gnutella host list servers. The only way I've found to fix it is to close Limewire and restart it. One thing I'm happy about with the new version is that I don't lose my in-progress downloads when I do that, but it IS annoying to have to do it, especially since I didn't have to do it in the older versions.  |
