Keeps Disconnecting
 

I've been having difficulty keeping connections. I'll be connected for awhile, and the number of Total Hosts will get up to as many as 500 (although it usually hovers around 100-150), but then Limewire will suddenly disconnect. A minute or two later will connect again, and the number of Total Hosts will crawl back up, only to disconnect again a few minutes later. I had this problem a few weeks ago, but lately Limewire's been working fine. Then, a couple days ago it started acting up again.

One thing to note, if I have a download going, it stays downloading, so I'm not completely disconnected.

I'm not behind a firewall, however I am using an Airport. (Although I haven't changed any configurations in it at all lately, and it was working fine a few days ago.) Also, I'm running OSX if that helps.

Nothing seems to have changed hardware or software-wise, so I'm wondering what this could be. Is it possible it could be my ISP?

If there are many hosts connecting and disconnecting from the network, this can happen. Sometimes there don't seem to be enough Ultrapeers to connect to, so if you loose one connection, you can't connect to another Ultrapeer at once.

Also people keeping 10+ Ultrapeerconnections as a leaf node are a problem.

However I don't think it's something you have any influence on.

Oh well...
 

Guess I'll just have to wait until it works itself out again.
