I just installed the new version of LW on a Powerbook G4 laptop. I've never, ever, ever been able to get Limewire to work for me, with any version, at any time. The only reason I keep trying is obvious-there's no other option for macintosh.

Again, like many people, I can't seem to connect. It tries for a second, then goes red. When I click the 'connect' thing it goes green to red in a second. This stupid "disconnected-no files available" message is driving me nuts.

PS. I'm at school at UCLA. Other people use limewire fine, here.

Then, why don't you ask those "other people", how they do it? I mean, you could easily use their configuration, we could only make guesses on what might be the problem.
