connection problem through a home network My computer is connected to a DSL service through a home network. I have been using LimeWire for a few months and am enjoying it very much, but I have encountered a couple of problems:
1. Sometimes, but not always, I get an error message that reads "An error has occurred in your networking software. Quit all Internet programs and then restart them. Message number: 6113." My Internet connection is sound, and all of my other Internet programs work fine, but after that error message LimeWire is unable to connect to the network; when I give the Connect command, the light turns green for a fraction of a second while the program does nothing. Even after I restart all of my Internet programs, including LimeWire, I just get the same error message and behavior. This doesn't happen all the time, but with enough frequency to be extremely frustrating. Is there some compatibility issue here?
2. I have also experienced a seemingly unrelated problem, in that from time to time, when I restart LimeWire, be it after an error message or just from shutting down and starting up my computer, it does not restart any of my previous downloads. These are still shown as incomplete in the Library view, but the download box in the Search view is empty. Is there any way to prevent this or recover my downloads after it has happened?
