Can't do a search

The search button on my LimeWire is blacked out. I can't click on it and thusly I can't search for anything. What is going on.

You are probably not connected. Maybe you are behind a firewall? Does your ISP block gnutella traffic?

You're right, I'm not connected and I am behind a firewall, but there are other people on the same network here that can use LimeWire just fine.

I'm having the same problem.
Everything has been working fine for months now.

Now it will not connect at all.
I downloaded the newest tonight but still no luck.
I'm not sure what is going on. I've tried everything I know to try. :(
