 2.4 download speeds drop I got the notice to upgrade yesterday & it was a complete mistake. While I found the previous version ran smoothly for me, the newest version is horrible! I am on a Mac G4 933/1GB running OS 9.2.2 on a T1 internet connection. I will connect just fine, find a song I want and connect to another person on a T1 or T3. Let's say the MP3 is 8 MB. By the time the file is maybe 45% downloaded, the speed has dropped to 0.4k/sec!!!!!! Most never finish downloading. Awful!  |
