 I have the same problem. Version 2.3.4 worked fine for me, but I recently downloaded the update to 2.4.4. When I try to launch the program, I get the hourglass for a second and nothing happens. I am always connected to the internet because I have a cable modem through Comcast. My internet connection works fine. My java version is 1.4. I performed the gnutella check through the run menu and it said "gnutella ok". I am running Windows XP. I have had to resort back to using 2.3.4 because it still works just fine. I would like to know what is causing this error in the newest version of Limewire.  |
