dropped connections
 

Okay, I upgraded to pro and now cannot stay connected. As soon as I open limewire pro it closes all on it's own within a minute or two. Yes, I read the faq's and I have download and ran adaware several times now. I'v also done the check to make sure my isp isn'[t blocking it. What now?

I just downloaded the regular free version of Limewire for the first time (2.4.4) and I'm gettng this same problem. It starts up, will even search and soemtimes start a download, but then will shut itself off in less than a minute. Im wondering weather it may be Win XP, looking through these boards Ive seen a few people mention problems with it, and XP seems to have some issues anyway. So, any advice on what I can do to get this up and running?

Hmm, I just bought a new computer with xp right before I upgraded to pro. I wonder if it IS an xp problem? Anyone have any solutions?
