192.168.*.* hosts in gnutella.net Why do all the gnutella.net files I've seen have 192.168.*.* hosts in them? Can't LimeWire tell that these hosts are invalid? How did they end up in there in the first place? |
LimeWire stores a number (something like 20) of those local addresses, for those who have sort of a gnutella network in their LAN, so they will automatically connect to a local host. - Since it's only 20 out of 500 addresses I don't think it will matter. |
But it does matter.lately 4 out of 10 connections end up going thru there for me |
