Search Problems Can someone please assist me, I'd like to know why does LimeWire sometimes state "Disconnected/No Files Available." When this occurs am not permitted to search. Can someone please instruct me on how to correct this problem. |

You have to connect to gnutella before searching. |
If LimeWire is reporting that you are disconnected, the first thing you should try is to open the file menu and select connect. -Avi |
cannot connect either! I've been searching these forums for WEEKS now because I have the same problem. I have not found anyone who can answer the question to why I can't connect. It seems that many people were able to use Limewire for a long time and then just recently were no longer able to connect. That's my story. If the reason is that I am behind a FIREWALL, then how was I able to connect before? I hope someone can figure out what the deal is because it seems like a LOT of people are having this problem! By the way, I'm working on Mac OS 9.2 and had no problems before I updated to the laterst version of Limewire. Thanks, Jessica |
