Sudden lack of hosts

In the last week, my number of hosts in the Stats window has dropped from in the hundreds down to 15-60. Sometimes in the period of a few minutes I may have 55 then drop to 17. Seems to be the same pattern regardless of time of day on both my Mac and my PC. Any suggestions or is there network problems?

Thanks!

Morpheus/Gnucleus break LimeWire's host count (to save a few bytes/second of bandwidth). If you are connected to Morpheus/Gnucleus ultrapeers LimeWire cannot detemine how many reachable hosts there are.

You da' Taliban Man! Thanks!

I removed the Morpheus and Gnutella connections, several Limewires appeared and my host count skyrocketed.

Question1: several Morph/Gnut connections reappeared; why and how do I keep them out?

Question2: What is Shareaza and how would I know if I have it? I searched my drive for the name but nothing showed up. Or, is this just a standard signature and the bottom of all your posts?

Thanks again!

1) You cannot do that without editing the LimeWire source code, recompiling, etc.

2) Shaereza is a new gnutella client. I just added that line to my standard sig. to tease a few people here.
