Angry No port for Incoming Connection

I recently purchased Limewire 2.4.4 and have not been able to connect.

Whenever I try to start the program it tells me that it can't find a port for incoming connections, and to change it in the configuration. When I try to change it, it always tells me the port is not available. (I've tried 6346, 6347,6348,6349, 80 etc....) It defaults to 6355.

I am not using a firewall or proxy, Im running windows 95, my isp is Verizon (DSL), and I have run the telnet test, and it says "gnutella ok"

I have even tried forcing my ip address with no luck.

I have searched the forums for this problem and have seen it in various places, but none of the replies seem to help me.

Please Help!
Sevan

It is entirely possible your ISP has an entire range of ports blocked.... try port 80 which is the port for regular browser traffic (HTTP)

Thanks Bobomon,

I had already tried that, but tried it again, with no luck. Any other suggestions?
