Connection Problems

I connect fine when I open the program but them it just drops me off and the "connect" button under "file" does not get me re-connected. I just had to download this version due to system problems and it does not work as well as the old LImeWire version that I liked. I am using Windows ME.

Please help. My friend is telling me to go to Morpheus but would like to continue with LimeWire.

Hi there,

Are you using LimeWire 2.4.4 or the new 2.5 beta? Also, next time you experience this problem, please wait a few seconds, then go to view and make sure connections is checked. Then open the connections tab and tell me what what comes up in the status column.

I am using 2.4.4 and there is nothing in the connections area today. In the past it has shown "connecting" multiple times but it does not "connect".
