using mac os 9.1 lime version 2.4 checked w ip sbcdsl theyre not blocking gnutella networks tried manually entering address' and allowing it to connect on it's own cant seeme to find a host that will allow a connection worked fine w cable modem when i had that service but i moved and now have dsl only please help

I have the same problem s that you have. I run Mac OS 9.1 and a couple of weeks ago I installed 2.4. It ran for a week then it stopped connecting.I checked with ISP and they are not blocking it.This is on DSL.I can connect Limewire to same ISP on the dial-up that they provide for back-up.I also can't figure it out.Just keep reading these posts till I find sumthin that works.Good luck

downloaded beta version and now it connects for a minute or two and then drops and keeps cycling through hosts at least it's closer to working
