Does it actually function????

First of all my lime wire still doesn't connect...
When I start it I get this error message: "Couldn't find a port for incoming connections. Please specify one from the configuration window." I can't find the configuration window they mention....
I'm on a first generation iMac using OS9...
Can anyone please help me?????
