Angry Won't Connect. . . .

Why won't LimeWire connect? Whenever I click on connect, it connects for a second, and then it disconnects. What am I doing wrong? (I am connected to the Internet.)

Your ISP may now be blocking traffic on port 6346 - If that is the case you might want to try using Telnet to test your ability to connect to Gnutellanet. You can test this by clicking
Start
Run
"telnet 64.61.25.171 6346" (enter everything inside the quotes)
Enter

A window should open with 'Gnutella OK ' in it ... if not then you are most likely being blocked somewhere down the line with the most likely culprit being your ISP at that point I would contact your interent service provider and ask if they are blocking port 6346

I recommend you follow the suggestions posted in this thread before asking the same question. If that does not yield any results then post another inquiry.

Same problem here,

It connects for 1 second and disconnects, I tried adding connect3.gnutellanet.com in the connections tab but no result. I am using a firewall but it's disabled on my IE.
