Please help me! I just got free ISP from my college. I then realized that I can not connect to any file sharing programs. Apparently they block all the ports for them. How do I get around this? There has to be some way to change my port settings right? If so, how do I go about doing this? I NEED some new songs!

I really don't know anything about how you could open ports manually other than to suggest maybe using zone alarm because when I d/l it, when my programs that wanted access to either local internet or reg. internet the zone alarm will ask you if you want the particular program to access and it will open the port for you, so maybe worth checking out.... should work in theory anyways heh I dunno what else to tell you sorry....
