connections with firewalls?
 
im behind a proxy server...is there any way that i will be able to use limewire? if so could u explain how? i dont know how to change the ports or nething like that...
are there ANY file-sharing programs that enable a user behind a firewall to connect??

LimeWire should work behind a proxy, it did for me too...
Where are you using LW from? From school, from your work, at home?
If you are at home its easier because you can view the proxy settings and change them.

Let us know a bit more about it and we can probably help you.

LimeWire doesn't support SOCKS or HTTP proxies

Hello!

Thats strange since my ISP connects me trough a http proxy and I am using LimeWire whitout a problem.Or am I misstaken is'nt a webbproxy a http proxy?
