Can't log on

I recently left limewire on for 4 days, when I went to log on, everything froze up. I shut limewire down and then logged on again. After bringing up a file search I attempted to download a file but the file would not highlight and nothing happened. I was able to scroll through the files and when I clicked on an arrow for multiple files that worked but I could not highlight or download, so I shut it down again. Now when I went to log on, the hourglass comes up for a fraction of a second, shuts off and then nothing. I've tried deleting the old limewire and replacing it (I bought limewire pro a few months ago) but the same thing happens. Any suggestions?
