Gnutella OK but still unable to connect i am having problems connecting... i've already tried typing "telnet 64.61.25.171 6346" under Run in the Start menu and it does say Gnutella OK but it still won't connect. |
err.. you are not supposed to use telnet to connect to gnutella. You need a gnutella client like Limewire or Gnucleus... |
i have limewire but it says "Disconnected/No Files Available" |
And you have clicked on the connect button? |
yup.... then the little green button at the bottom that says how many files i'm sharing goes green for a few seconds then goes back to red again |

...your client has not enough hosts to connect to ...your dont have enough bandwidth to establish these connections. If you dont have high speed connection disable ultrapeer and limit the upload speed. Then you can also add some more pongcaches beside your router.limewire.com, for example: public.bearshare.com connect1.gnutellanet.com connect2.gnutellanet.com To do this, go to your preferences.
