Red face connection fix

The fix is to just run FreeWire while you have LimeWire connected and FreeWire works perfectly. This works for me. After I bought LimeWire Pro I had a ton of connection problems. I even complained to LimeWire and asked for my money back since they just gave me the standard "You are on a modem and we cannot guanatee that anyone will want to share thier files with you" They don't give refunds. I also had happened to download FreeWire before I downloaded LimeWire Pro thinking it was the free version of LimeWire. FreeWire was giving the same problems as LimeWire that is why I bought the Pro edition. Well LimeWire Pro still refuses to work for me but if I am connected to LimeWire Pro and FreeWire FreeWire works GREAT!! I get almost all my requests. And if FreeWire starts acting up I just unconnect and reconnect with LimeWire and I'm up and running again. This LimeWire Pro is a big rip off as far as I'm concerned

Default FreeWire

From what I understand FreeWire is a clone of LimeWire. What I do not understand is why I get better connections and more reliable downloads at FreeWire when I connect to LimeWire but it doesn't work in the reverse. I really do not care how it works I am just happy I found a way to connect with the Gnutella network that will actually allow me to succsesfully download files. I have tried my different programs for sharing files and this combination is the most reliable for my computer skills and my computer. But it isn't as good as the older versions of Napster, BearShare or Morpheous.

That is interesting, Ladydi. If I ever get LW to work again, I'll try it.

Hey, BPMax. I LIVE in Phoenix and I'm not a Coyotes fan. Funny how things work out. Do you commute?

BPmax. Anyone that would drive 12 hours to see ANYTHING is a REAL fan. ....I used to play as a kid, just fool around stuff on the frozen lakes in NY. Never really got into it as a spectator though. I have a real problem with the "put on" fighting as a side show. I did used to go to some of the Whalers games when they were in Hartford and did enjoy some college games at Yale. ....Great Dbacks game tonight. I almost went and wish I did. ....Sure! If you want to go sometime and you're in The Big Oven as we call it here, let me know. ...Email me at my yahoo account: conyankee@yahoo.com and I'll send you my regular email address. This way I'll keep the spam down. They are always watching, you know. LOL...Joe
