Please help resolve upload issues
 

I have some files that, when selected by users from my shared folder read 'file not found' in my monitor window.

What's up with that?

Here's the situation with some of these files. These particular files are duplicated files that I have changed the name of so that if one file is busy being uploaded to a user then the other file can be selected and uploaded.

Remember these are duplicate files; same file, same file size, different filename.

Could it be that I am not allowed to do this?

I don't really know about your primary question. However, it seems to me that you are simply wasting disk space by renaming them. I have four slots available (since my ISP throttles my upstream bandwidth at 20 kbps & I want to give at least acceptable speed) and I've had instances where all four slots were being used for the same file, to different IP addresses.
