can't connect on my i book

My ibook can not connect to the network. It will connect for a split second, then disconnect. Does anyone know of how to fix this or any other mac X compatiable sharing systems??

I am having the same problem and a lot of other people are as well. I don't understand what's going on but I jave a mac too. I have the old IBOOK. Limewire used to work for me, but now it's getting on my nerves.
