Yes, I know. I already hear what you are saying. It isn't possible. But I'll go onto my hard luck story anyhow. My University blocks port 6346. I'd like to find another way to connect my imac. I don't know much about IP's and ports and that fun true computergeek language, but I'm a decent computergeek myself and would be willing to try any suggestions. Let me know if I am at a lost cause or have an ounce of hope in a dwindling dorm room.

The next limewire version will probably work if your university blocks just port 6346. But you'll have to wait a couple of weeks until it's released.

Try the latest beta. - If version 2.6.x doesn't connect either, there's not much you could do.
