 In one case you were in Ultrapeer mode and in the other case you were in leaf mode. Due to some shortsitedness of the latest Morpheus release, there is a shortage of Ultrapeers on the network so more than usual are getting promoted. Luckily, LimeWire will reserve connections for LimeWire users and it can adapt to a changing demand for Ultrapeers. Thanks -greg  |
