No connect, no search, error message 2
 

Hi,

I had the old version of Basic Limewire. No problems. Wish I had it back. Then upon start up I got an upgrade notice, so I took advantage and downloaded the latest version of basic the other day for my i Mac running 9.2.

Mistake. The original version worked fine. This version not at all. First off, upon installing I got this mesage that the installation ws sucessful with minor errors. Next upon start up I can't use search and have a disconnect across the top of the window. Then wwhen I click on the top of the screen Limewire quits and gives me a system error 2 message.


What to do? In English please.

I had a problem with the new 2.5.5. I went back to my old 2.4.4

As for the connection problem, try this:

Check this thread in the Connections Forum. If you enter these hosts into your Tools > Options > Connections it should connect. There has been some trouble connecting lately, as you may see by all the posts.
