![]() Okay I DLed this program b/c my friend says it's great. Well, so far I like it, BUT...when it comes up, I don't have a tab that says 'Connections.' I can't ever get it to connect so I am unable to DL songs. I don't know what else to do. I'm not very good with computers but I can usually figure them out. But I have had no luck figuring LimeWire out. I want to keep it, but if I can't get it to connect, then what's the point of having it? Please someone help me cuz I have no idea what to do. ![]() |

![]() The connection tab is not shown by default - you need to go to the 'View' menu item and tick 'connections'. You must be connected to the internet before you start LimeWire. Havr you tried the telnet test? - telnet router4.limewire.com 6346 - you should get a response of "Gnutella OK". What operating system do have? Java version? LimeWire version? Do you have a firewall/router? what type of internet conenction do you have? Mark |

![]() Okay, I did the little 'View' then 'Connections' and it came up. It connected a few minutes after I did that. I have done the 'Run' thing on my comp and it came up "Gnutella OK." So I know my comp knows it's here and all. I have Windows ME for the one who asked. And I don't know the difference between Java and LimeWire so umm, I dunno know the answer to that question. Thank you for your help. ![]() |
