Lots of acceses can be caused by sharing popular files. Those files are included in the download mesh (a distributed system in gnutella to give other sources available to the downloaders). Some clients take a lot of time before clearing their download mesh cache (ie bearshare) meaning they'll ask for the file even when LW is shut down.

Well, whoever it is, for whatever reasons, they can bug me all they want and steal whatever they want because (a) I don't have any information worth stealing and (b) if they plant viruses or atomic bombs on my computer I'll just reformat and reinstall. With a Mac this is about as difficult as brushing your teeth.

But how come Norton is always telling me LimeWire wants to open new ports, even after 6346 has been opened?
