connection with OS 9.2, but not with OS X

I have been using Limewire on my G4 Mac under OS 9.2 quite successfully, but now that I upgraded to OS X and downloaded the appropriate version of Limewire, I don't seem to be able to connect to anything. Any suggestions what is wrong and what I could try?

If you are running Jaguar, make sure that the built-in firewall is turned off (or punch a hole for port 6346).
