all of the sudden, i'm having VERY poor connections.
 

i've been using the latest version of limewire for about three weeks. it has been running smoothly until the past couple of days. it used to quickly connect to hosts and remain quite stable. now it searches through dozens of hosts and only manages to connect to ones that are very weak and barely have any files to offer. umm... so any advice? or anyone else having this problem?

sorry i can't explain it in proper terms.... i'm pretty clueless at the moment.

I´ve got exactly the same problem, but no idea how to solve it.

I´m using MacOS X (10.2.1) on a 700MHz iBook.

Some heavy **** going down in PA, maybe the whole USA.
There's been a law passed that requires ISPs to take down/slow warez/illegal porn access. Of course, lots of good stuff gets axed as well.
For example, WorldCom has banned www.terra.es , the No.1 spainish site (apparently some users hosted copyrighted songs).
What next? Shall we ban Yahoo Geocities?
It's like a bloody China here now...
