Default Issues you can probably commiserate with

::Blurp::

I have a few issues and a few rants , some of them are actually Limewire/ Gnutellafella related.

Number One: There are too many slime hands on this network with Cable/DSL with their 50-100 dollar NATs who won't do a simple eFFin port map . OOoo that burns my bradey.

Number Two: I am lookin at the interface right now and I am seeing some connections showin up in green some in black ( BTW, if you aren't using dual monitors you have NO IDEA what you are missing). Wut doz it meen!! Me feel so stupid. Colors challenge me. ...... and after a cursory glance at the help files i didn't get an answer, so like a good american if a little work doesn't pan out I'll just ask someone smarter than me and pretend i knew all along.

Number Three: Here is my biggest pet peeve.
Leave it on.
Simple isn't it, just start the software and leave it on.
So why do so many people have issues with that?

MYTH: Uploads slow your download speeds.
REALITY : Almost every single connectione you will ever ever ever encounter operates in Full Duplex, Meaning sending and recieving are done serially ( one bit at a time) on seperate channels.

MYTH: Running Limewire affects my Productivity because it slows My computer down/makes it unstable.
REALITY : I WANT YOUR FILEWS. Get a faster computer or get another computer and devote it solely to P2P systems. Failing that send me an email listing all the files you want to share along with your address and i will come over with a portable drive and suck them off your system.

I realize that sounds selfish, but I Currently have over 1500 files share and yeah theres a load of porn there, but there also lots of Music files and a large number of varoius programz .

okay I'm done for now.
