![]() Hi there. After a complete Mac OS9.2 clean install, I downloaded the lastest free limewire application (which always worked fine before) and now, just after starting up, it stops before the app has loaded and give me the following java related message : unable to locate the applications 'main' class. The class 'com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void (String[])'method. (LAX) does anyone know what this means? or even better, how I can fix this problem? I'm totally unable to use Limewire until I get this sorted. Any solutions would be great thanks. |

![]() There seems to be a rash of this error. I too had a clean install on LimewirePro on an os 9.2.2. I too have the exact same error message. Alas, no one seems to have a fix for this yet, least of all the folks at LimeWire who have yet to respond to this problem on any and all forums. |

![]() Same problem for me today! I too updated to Mac OS 9.2.2 a few days ago, but Limewire worked fine. Until two days ago. The GUI started behaving strangely (I wasn't able to switch smoothly from search to the other sections). I thought I'd reinstall Limewire today and now, I've got exactly the same Java error message as you, guys. That's really an epidemic! Sylvie |
