Doesn't Launch in OS 9.2.2 or OS 10.1.5

I recently downloaded your 2.7.11 version of limewire for mac. I first installed it on my mac OS 9.2.2 operating system with the latest Apple Java 1.3.1. The program installed fine, but when I launched it, it sat in the launching "interface screen" for more than 5 min each time and did not load! I also tried installing the same version of the software on my OS 10.1.5 sytem. Same thing again, the software loads fine, but then I get a popup screen with all these things that Limewire has detected as wrong. The program then forcequits on itself. I even did Apple software update on both hard drives to see if I needed new updates. Nothing had to be updated. I am running Internet explorer 5.1 on both operating systems. Could this be an issue? Otherwise I am extrememly pissed off now that I have deleted my limewire version 2.5.5 which was very stable.

Nathan, sorry I can't offer any help with Mac.... I would suggest you also post this under General Mac Support or General Mac OSX Support. You should reach more people with expertise & experience specific to your platform.

Good luck.

Not only will it not run on my mac: I have Jaguar but it won't run on any of my windows computers either. It worked just fine before. I deleted the old version as well. This sucks!

Nathan, try this link.
It's a list of all versions of LimeWire. You can find the last one that worked for you until they fix this.

p.s. Keep the installer in case of future problems. :D I always hang onto the last installer that works just for this reason.

We have fixed this problem in 2.7.13, and users have had a good experience with it. Please give 2.7.13 a try. If you still have problems, then there may be an issue that we are unaware of, and we will attempt to address it.

Adam, It works for me. One thing I noticed was that it took some time saying loading user interface and then it changed. Other than that it starts up just fine.
