Connection/DNS/Server Names

A while back I saw a post that had information concerning the connection window and adding DNS/Server names to the list of servers that limewire connects to.

I've been searching the posts but can't seem to find them. Does anyone out there know them?

TIA,
-Ric

Maybe try a search of "connection hosts". I remember it too. It would have been in the last 3 months or so, I believe.

Connection Hosts

Thanks to Julie Z for making the suggestion to run a search on CONNECTION HOSTS. This appears to be what I'd seen posted before.
Now, what remains is just to try them.

Below you will find a cut and pasted copy of what I velieve was the original posts.
Thanks Julie Z!!!

There are two ways to enter hosts for connection. First try going to Tools>Options>Connections and entering the hosts below. Then restart Limewire.

If you still don't get a stable connection, go to the Connections window (you may need to activate it in the View menu), type in the host addresses and click Add. You may need to try each one several times.

router.limewire.com
public.bearshare.net
connect1.bearshare.net
connect2.bearshare.net
connect3.bearshare.net
connect1.gnutellanet.com
connect2.gnutellanet.com
connect3.gnutellanet.com
connect4.gnutellanet.com
connect5.gnutellanet.com
connect6.gnutellanet.com
connect7.gnutellanet.com
gnet2.ath.cx
gnotella.fileflash.com

Well, you are quite welcome!

I had noticed that some of them didn't connect in the past. Not sure about now. I think I have router.limewire.com as my first entry. I believe that's what it connects with. So, give them a try and good luck! :D
