I can solve your speed problem. You have a fast connection, but you can only download as fast as the person at the other end can upload, and if they are on a narrowband, then it goes slowly. No fault of yours, gnutella, or limewire.

I have justed started trying Limewire, and I found the same problem.

I am on 2.8.6 and it refuses to connect, or if your lucky enough to get a connection they disappears within an hour and you have restart the progrram multiple times until finally it finds a connection again.

Hardly useable, although the interface is nice. One of lifes little ironies I guess. I certainly wont buy it until they sort out the connection problem.
