slow speeds with cable?

just got cable installed yesterday and tried runnin my limewire now and it still downloads on average at about 2 KB/s. i chaged the settings to cable. any help would be appreciated

hi,
you may have cable but if you download from other people
you cant be sure that they also have cable.
if the host you are downloading from has a small bandwidth
then you cant download with your full bandwidth...

to download faster, always pick downloads from cable/t3/t1
servers or download from several hosts.
