can't connect ... and I know I'm not the only one!
 

On a recent thread, I read, "...Without a direct connection to the internet you will not be able to use LimeWire." from trap_jaw. Although, I DO have a direct connection to the internet, (even though it is just a modem)!
Limewire connects for under a minute at start up, allows me to perform a (1) search, 2 if I'm lucky, sometimes I can grab a few of my selections ... then *poof!* NADA ...
I'm running Mac OS X.2, fyi.

Any more advice?
