Question ports

im sure this has been asked a million times, but even searching around, i'm still confused....so any/all help would be appreciated!

i recently installed a firewall and when firing up my limewire i'm getting the following error:

"could not find a port to use for incoming connections. please specify a port from the configuration window"

so i tried reading thru some stuff on here regarding firewalls and ports, but am only more confused now. haha!

if it's not too much trouble, could someone just tell me how to change the port....? or is it not that simple? i've seen the section under options where the port info is...i'm just not sure what to change it to. [i bet that sounds really stupid...sorry!]

thanks

I have been having the same problem for many months. I am on DSL with no firewall and get the same error message. I have left many posts about it and have not gotten an answer, so don't expect too much from this thread.
