![]() Hi. I have cable internet that is about 40 kb/s upstream and around 300-500 kb/s downstream. When having Ultrapeer enabled, the connections tab screen fills up with, that I've counted, 60 connections. Should that seriously lag my internet? Can this be changed? As it is, everything seems slightly slower (my lag on IRC was on average no bigger than 0.1 seconds but is now around anywhere from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds). Thanks |

![]() same thing happens to me. there's just a lot of constant traffic when you're an ultrapeer. you can force limewire to run as a leaf: go to options/speed check 'disable ultrapeer capabilities' there seem to be plenty of ultrapeers out there lately anyway. |
