can't connect. nothing happens
 

I just installed Limewire yesterday. Went through the whole process and immediately successfully downloaded a song. Later I tried to get on again and can't. I get on the internet, then click on the Limewire icon. The window comes up, but the light stays red. I clicked on file/connect, it goes green for an instant, then back to red. Can anyone help? Please note that I've read some of these messages and reply and have no clue what folks are talking about. I'm not a computer guy at all. I just want this thing to work. Any steps I can try as a novice? I'm on prodigy, and SBC Yahoo, have Norton Systemworks installed, and I'm using Microsoft XP if any of that helps. I was so juiced when I got the one song, which makes it even more frustrating now.
