Default Problems with startup on Mac 9.1

When I start it up it opens but not all of the features are there and it stalls. It connects, but then I can't do anything with it because the features don't show up. I can't quit it since the menu with quit doesn't show up, so I end up having to restart my computer.

Try downloading the latest version. Also, I hate to say this or ask you to do this, but updating to OS 9.2.2 greatly increases compatibility with OS X programs. I would highly recommend updating to 9.2 if possible, although certianly not all computer can be updated to 9.2 from 9.1.

I just downloaded it on the 27th. I also got this weird error when I tried again yesterday. I think I'm just going to give up on it, it uses up all my remaining memory anyway, leaving me with like 1,000K.
I don't think my computer can be upgraded, we wanted to upgrade it to OS X, but it wasn't possible.
