Try clicking "Connect". Your "Connect on startup" preference may have been disabled.

Default Another Mac non-connect

I also have a Mac running Jaguar. The new Limewire 3.2.3 will not connect. No problems before.

If you have OS X, try dling the Jum build of Limewire, which can be found at: http://baghira.han.de/~jum/LimeWire.html

Default No Connect

I don't know what "dling the Jum build of Limewire" means, but when I go to that link, there isn't enough info to tell me whether it's applicable to OSX 10.2.6 or an earlier version, and in any case it sounds risky (bleeding edge!).

C'mon now, Limewire. If you're gojng to sell us the "Pro" version of your software, provide a product that works, even (or especially) when we "upgrade."

The Jum build is extremely reliable. Go to the website and download the Jum version of Limewire.

Blackbird,
Thank you for your response. I was running 3.3.1, which I thought was the latest version, but I downloaded again this AM, and that is the 3.3.4 version, and that seems to work fine. Thanks again.

Default Still can't connect! Frustrated!

I did the "dling" thing, although I have no idea what that means, but I'm still playing the red light/green light game. I just want to connect and I've been using LimeWire for quite a while. This is a new problem. It seems to have started after upgrading. I have LimeWire Pro and am kind of po'd that I paid to be frustrated. Does someone have any other suggestions? I've been reading the posts.

Ok. The "dling" thing means to download (dl) the Jum Version of Limewire, which can be found at the aforementioned site. Use that version of Limewire and follow the simple installation instructions (it's drag n drop).
