I upgraded to 3.3.4, installed, and now I never connect - I can watch a few hundred connected host IP's go by, but none connect.
If I click, file:connect........nothing.
I am Win2000, I am not behind a firewall or router, and I am on my 4th or 5th version of Limewire, never had this problem before.
SO, I went back to ver 3.2.0, - same problem!!
Any ideas?

I had a similar problem (Check forum under for my problem). I had could not connect. I deleted my sbc parental controls I recently installed and now I can connect to limewire. Hope it helps

delete all your LimeWire settings and try a clean reinstall. / Try the latest beta.

My experience with Limewire has shown me that you must delete the program using the add/remove programs in Windows, then, you must go into My Computer, and manually find and remove all folders found that the uninstall feature left behind. Use the Search feature to locate hidden files. The remnants of Limewire left behind may cause problems. Then reinstall the latest version.
