I am unable to connect
 

I just downloaded limewire and now i cant connect to it. I have gone to the firewall option and set it up like other posts for other memebers have said and it still wont work i have even uninstalled and re-installed and re-booted my computer. does anyone have any soutions??message :confused: message

Like others, I'd help if I could, but need to know what kind of machine, OS version, and connection location and type you use. e.g., I connect via iMac G3 using OS 10.2.6 and the latest LW through a Linksys router to a high-speed cablemodem at home.

If you are connecting through a university, for example, you need to find out if anyone else can connect, or ask your network administrator if connections to the "gnutella network" on port 6346 are allowed.
